PROGRAM

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS :

Pass the Malaysian Higher School Certificate (STPM) or its equivalent, with a minimum Grade C [Grade Point Average (GPA) 2.0] in any two subjects, and a pass in Mathematics and English at the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level, or an equivalent qualification;

OR Pass the Malaysian Higher Religious Certificate (STAM) with a minimum grade of Jayyid, and a pass in Mathematics and English at the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level;

OR A Matriculation/Foundation qualification with a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.00, or an equivalent qualification;

OR A Diploma qualification [Level 4, Malaysian Qualifications Framework (MQF)] in a related field with a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.00;

OR An Advanced Diploma [Level 5, Malaysian Qualifications Framework (MQF)] in a related field with a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.00;

OR Pass the Malaysia Skills Diploma (DKM), Advanced Malaysia Skills Diploma (DLKM), or Malaysia Vocational Diploma (DVM) with a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.50 in a related field, and a pass in Mathematics and English at the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level, subject to the approval of the Senate or Academic Board;

OR Pass the Malaysia Skills Diploma (DKM), Advanced Malaysia Skills Diploma (DLKM), or Malaysia Vocational Diploma (DVM) with a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.00, at least two (2) years of relevant work experience, and a pass in Mathematics and English at the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level.

*Obtain at least Band 2.0 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) (either at the time of registration or during the course of study).

DURATION OF STUDY : 3½ years, including Industrial Training
